"Fellnasentage - Kreatives Eintragbuch" - that's the title of the book I'd like to introduce to you today. Franziska Schneider, from the blog das Lieblingsrudel, has published her first book and I've had the honour of telling you all about it.
But that's not all! There's even a giveaway where you can win your very own copy.

The creative journal for your dog.

You probably remember those memory books you got from classmates at school, where you'd fill in a few pages all about yourself. Fellnasentage is a bit like that — except the entire book is dedicated to your dog. 121 pages long, varied, thoughtfully put together, with helpful tips and sweet illustrations covering all kinds of topics around our furry companions.

What's inside Fellnasentage.

The first chapter dives straight into your furry friend. The profile page, for example, doesn't just cover facts about their appearance — it also includes useful information like microchip number, liability insurance details and more.
It's a genuinely practical overview that makes important data easy to find at a glance.

The book is suitable both for people who are about to welcome a four-legged friend into their home and for long-time dog owners. For the former, there's a shopping list, valuable tips on how to make your home dog-proof and much more. And for the latter — like me — it was really lovely to look back on that very first meeting or the day they moved in and flip through old photos. It brings on quite a nostalgic feeling.

The further chapters of Fellnasentage cover training & health, play & fun, walkies, day trips & holidays, as well as handy tips & lovely extras. There's even a dedicated section for the senior dog. Life hacks for everyday life with a dog, practical DIY tutorials and a clear contact and information section round the whole thing off nicely.

My verdict on "Fellnasentage".

If you enjoy keeping a dog journal — filling in pages about your favourite snout, sketching pictures of your pup or simply sticking in photos of the two of you — then you're going to love Fellnasentage!

Not only is the book genuinely fun, it's also sensibly structured and adds real value by bringing together a wealth of information about your dog all in one place.

A little tip from me: don't use a fountain pen on the cover ;) inside the book it's no problem at all.
