We couldn't resist... When we heard that Paul Croes and Inge Nelis were coming back to Austria, we immediately got in touch with Cornelia (the wonderful soul who takes care of all the organisation) and arranged an appointment for mid-January.
Preparation & planning.
This time around, we were even better prepared than the last time!
We had a rough idea of what to expect and how the day would unfold. Paul and Inge sent us a questionnaire to fill out in advance so they could cater to our wishes — and cater they did!
What gets packed?
A LOT! Funnily enough, far more luggage for our four-legged sniffers than for us two-legged folk. We pared our own things down to the bare essentials, but our "dog of the world" filled the boot with his accessories. Since Martina and I absolutely wanted to have the cloud beds from the Hundereise Manufaktur photographed, we had to drive to Weiz in two cars. Fitting everyone and everything into one vehicle just wasn't going to happen...
A more relaxed trip..
Our shooting day was a Friday this time — which worked out perfectly — so we drove to the Hotel Ederer on Thursday and, unlike the first time, booked two nights. On Saturday we headed home in a relaxed state after an exciting photo shoot.
Curious about Paul Croes's photos?
So were we! You can take our word for it!!
We had been so eagerly waiting for the photos, and the wait was absolutely worth it!
We weren't disappointed, of course, and got to enjoy a whole host of stunning pictures of our 4 favourites.
The photo shoot with Paul Croes and Inge Nelis was incredibly fun, just as professional as the first time, and the dogs loved being in the spotlight.
So, without further ado...
Here we go!
Atlas, the calm, steady anchor.
Who can also show a different side ;)
We're not sure exactly how old Atlas is, but he's roughly the same age as Che (who turns 10 this summer).
With his wisdom and laid-back nature, the Galgo brings calm and structure to our pack. On this particular day, Atlas showed off his most photogenic side, came completely out of his shell, and was duly crowned "Model of the Day!"

Che, the sensitive romantic.
The strong-willed Frenchman loves working together with you so much that it was a genuine joy to watch him with Inge Nelis on shooting day. He always tries so hard that you have to rein in his over-eagerness a little. Che is slowly heading into his senior years, but he still acts as fresh as ever and flirts for all he's worth.

Tiago, the elegant heartbreaker.
Tiago can come across as shy at first and needs a little time to get used to new situations. But as the saying goes: "Still waters run deep..." and once this big Galgo starts to open up, you can truly see his grace and elegance. A thoroughly athletic body paired with a gentle nature.

Murphy, the charming little rascal.
The cheerful young pup keeps our pack well on their toes, and he knows full well that his puppy-dog eyes make women's hearts melt. Mischief and nonsense are never far from Murphy's mind, and he constantly makes us laugh — or reach for the mop (he loves tearing up paper). Staying firm with him is quite the challenge!

Best dog friends.
Che & Atlas have gotten along since the very first days they met. There has never been any friction between them. Tiago & Murphy were welcomed just as warmly into the family, and the experienced oldies give the two youngsters a sense of security through their life experience.

The Hundereise team presents "Loops"!
Winter may be nearly over, but the next one will be here before you know it.
Short-haired dogs love wearing a loop scarf around their neck in the cooler months, and our four are here to show you just how stylish it looks!

The Cloud Bed by Hundereise Manufaktur.
Big dogs want big beds. Galgos want to sleep on clouds.
Commission received from Martina — commission carried out by Babsi!
Originally made just for Atlas, he and Tiago have since developed various strategies to reclaim their spot in the cloud bed. As you can see from the shoot, not only do all 4 dogs fit in it — so do we two humans, when push comes to shove ;)

Atlas, Tiago & Martina.
Martina and her two Galgos are a tight-knit team! Nobody could miss that or deny it. Wherever Martina goes, Atlas & Tiago feel right at home. All 3 personalities have been through a lot together — and now they know they can count on each other, sharing exciting stories and more than a few extraordinary adventures along the way.

Che, Murphy & Babsi.
And what about the three of us? We want to enjoy life, we'll keep having fun on our adventures, and we're busy discovering new holiday destinations.
Che & Murphy enrich my life in so many ways, and I'm incredibly grateful that I get to accompany them on their "Hundereise"!

Thank you, Paul & Inge!
We had a great day, a lot of fun, inspiring talks & moments!
Thank you both for amazing pictures again - we really appreciate your work and love the photos!
