3 Things About Me

  1. I've always been crazy about animals. Dogs and horses had a special place in my heart. Even as a toddler I sought out furry friends and had absolutely no problem with them licking me or snorting in my face — much to my mum's dismay, since she had a healthy respect for horses while I showed zero fear. Stray dogs on various holidays weren't safe from me either, and I'm grateful to Mum for being pretty relaxed about that.
  2. Crafting, creative work and sewing are an essential part of my life that I want to keep building on. I look forward to making more leads, collars, dog beds and coats in the future.
  3. I rarely lack self-confidence, drive or motivation, but there are many things I would never have tackled or achieved without the support of my family and friends.

Alina's 5 Questions for Us.

  1. What was your best moment in 2017?
    Hard to narrow the highlights of 2017 down to just one moment, but if I have to be strict about it, then it's absolutely clear: little Murphy moving in with us in February.
  2. What do you love most about life with a dog?
    - My two Frenchies go absolutely wild with excitement every single day when I come home.
    - Che & Murphy never fail to make me laugh.
    - Fresh air is part of the daily routine.
    - They challenge me, because they want to bring out my inner "Dogwoman".
    - They give back so much love!
  3. What can your furry friend do to really drive you up the wall?
    Generally I try not to let things get to me, but every now and then, when the two of them completely lose the plot around another dog, I have to be careful not to get swept up in their energy. We're working on all three of us staying calmer in those situations. With the two of them it's already going pretty well!
  4. If your life with a dog were a song, which one would it be?
    That's an easy one: "Das Beste" by Silbermond (and that goes not only for my favourite dogs, but also for my favourite man!)
  5. What experiences do you still want to have with your dog in the future?
    One big dream is to explore the North Sea or the Baltic Sea with Che & Murphy. I imagine walks along the mudflats with the dogs would be indescribably beautiful. That vast openness represents so much freedom!
